Removal Procedure

    Caution: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the driver door. When operated, the Express Up/Down Feature allows the door window to move very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury.

  1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the inner and outer belt moldings. Refer to Molding Replacement - Window Belt .
  4. Remove the speaker assembly. Refer to Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  5. Remove the window. Refer to Door Window Replacement .
  6. Remove the window module. Refer to Front Side Door Window Module Replacement .

    7. Object Number: 428127 Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1).
  8. Disconnect the linkage from the inner door handle at the lock actuator assembly.
  9. Disconnect the lock assembly from the rear window channel retaining bracket.
  10. Remove the retaining bolts from the actuator door lock assembly.
  11. Remove the door lock actuator from the window module.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the lock assembly to the rear window channel retaining bracket.
  2. Connect the linkage from the inner door handle to the lock assembly.

    3. Object Number: 428127 Size: SH
  3. Connect the electrical connectors (1).
  4. Install the window module. Refer to Front Side Door Window Module Replacement .
  5. Install the window. Refer to Door Window Replacement .
  6. Install the speaker assembly. Refer to Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  7. Install the inner and outer belt moldings. Refer to Molding Replacement - Window Belt .
  8. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  9. Install the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
